We are excited to announce a monthly ‘monitoring’ challenge starting in October. The Monitor Run! The challenge is for all of us to monitor our 5k run times. Which month will be your best? Complete the challenge for a special discounted rate on the BS run 2013! That’s running a 5k every month for the next 11 months.
Monitor Run Details
When: Last Sunday of every month (there may be some exceptions due to holidays).
Distance: Primary run will be 5k (some other distances may be added).
Timing: These runs will be manually timed.
Location: Each month the course will be in a different location around the city. Course route will be announced a few weeks in advance.
Fee: $5 donation to Team Diabetes ($40 donation to will allow you to enter full year challenge).
The Monitor Runs accept virtual runners! We know it might be difficult for some to get to F'ton every month so we're adding a virtual run to the mix. Registration fee is $5.
All you have to do is let us know you are running, run your 5k around the same time as us (+/- one or two days), then post your run location and time.
All proceeds in support of Team Diabetes.
Now what's stopping you from accepting our challenge?
